A. Gender ideology

1. What is gender ideology?

Gender ideology is a philosophical theory of the last century that proposes to abolish the sexes by replacing them with genders. According to this theory, each person chooses the gender they wish to have; and can choose to be a man, woman, homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual... One can even change gender according to one's desire; so they say.

2. And does anyone believe this strange theory?

Gender ideology is widely spread due to enormous pressure from groups interested in imposing it.

3. Why are they interested in imposing it?

Surely to quiet their consciences and spread sexual behavior without any rule.

4. How do they believe this theory?

Gender ideology has a little bit of truth, since there are people who decide to be homosexual, lesbian, etc. But the theory is very false, as common sense makes plain.

5. Why is gender ideology false?

Because it confuses sexual behavior with sex. It is true that one can choose a more or less correct sexual behavior. But it is false that one can choose one's sex.

6. Examples?

  • A man who decides to behave sexually as a woman does not become a woman, but rather becomes a homosexual man.
  • A woman who behaves sexually as a man does not become a man, but is a lesbian woman.
  • Even a man who has surgery and changes his reproductive organs does not become a woman, but is a transsexual man.

7. Is sex not located in the genitals?

Externally, sex is perceived there. But in reality, it encompasses the whole person, primarily the brain. This is why homosexuals are treated by psychiatrists.

8. Should one distinguish between sex, sexual inclination, and sexual behavior?

They are different things. For example, a man may by nature be of male sex; but may be inclined toward homosexuality; and his behavior may be bisexual. Naturally, these variations produce imbalances. In a mature and balanced person, sex, sexual inclination, and behavior all go in the same direction.

9. So can one choose one's sex?

Of course not. One can choose a correct sexual behavior or not. But sex cannot be chosen. It is true that sexual actions have a great influence and become rooted in persons, but their sex does not change.

10. Can one choose one's sexual inclination?

It seems so, but it is not so easy, since one's own sex carries with it the corresponding inclination, so that changing it is traumatic in the process and in the result. Making the change in the opposite direction gives a splendid result but the process is also costly; for example, a homosexual can regain a male sexual inclination, but does not achieve it merely by deciding so — he must suppress the self-pitying child he carries within (see homosexuality).

11. Can one choose one's sexual behavior?

It seems so, but it is not easy either. One's own sex includes an inclination that invites correct sexual behavior. Deviating from this path involves a rupture of inner balance, which leaves a mark on the person. Looking at it the other way makes it clearer: the person who has disorderly sexual behavior can decide to change it, but this decision is not enough. They will have to overcome the addictions that those bad habits have created, and rebuild a balanced personality.

12. In summary?

  • Sex cannot be changed. It is bound to the person.
  • In a balanced person, sex, sexual inclination, and sexual behavior all go in the same direction.
  • If there were a distortion in these things, the only solution is to redirect inclination and behavior toward the direction that sex indicates.

13. So is gender ideology nonsense?

One can say so. Gender ideology is a great error. It calls sex 'gender' and says that everything can be chosen. This is very false. In reality, sexual inclination and behavior are not easily changed, even if one decides to do so. And of course, sex is not altered because it is bound to the person. As for gender, it is a grammatical invention that can easily be varied. For example, by calling the cow 'cowle' and the bull 'bulle'; but they remain what they are even if you change the name.

14. Why is it said that sex is bound to the person?

Because sex is not separable from human nature. The human being is always male or female. There are no human beings without sex. Sex is not an external garment added to humanity; rather, human nature includes the corresponding sex.

B. Historical context of gender ideology

1. The general context

In the 20th century, there were three great movements that tried to enslave men by imposing a series of ideologies and behaviors on them:
  • Marxism.- It was an overwhelming wave that dominated everything. In the 21st century it has almost disappeared.
  • Laicism.- A fierce anticlericalism that aims to impose atheistic religion. It continues active in the 21st century.
  • The suppression of sexual rules.- It continues to grow with gender ideology.

2. Sexual rules before the 20th century

Throughout history, man has committed all kinds of sexual aberrations, but it was common to recognize that they were wrong. Examples:
  • Adultery, fornication, and illegitimate children have always existed. But people knew those behaviors were not correct. Hence it was said: 'he slipped up', 'he was cheated on', etc. They recognized what was wrong and tried to avoid it, even if they sometimes failed. And then conscience gave warning.
  • Homosexuality has always existed too. For example, many centuries before Christ, in the time of Abraham, the Bible mentions the punishment of Sodom and Gomorrah where these sins — sodomitic ones — abounded. These behaviors have always existed; it was known they were wrong; and conscience protested.

3. Morality in the 20th century

In that century, with the spread of atheism (Marxist and laicist), immorality spread. By eliminating God, the idea spread that everything is permitted, that there are no moral rules. And conscience loses its voice. Examples:
  • Theft sounds bad. But it seems that what is bad is getting caught; while if nobody is going to catch you, it no longer sounds so bad.
  • Murder is still seen as bad. But if it concerns an unborn child — abortion — or an elderly person — euthanasia — then these actions are no longer seen as so bad.

4. The suppression of sexual rules

The desire for everything to be permitted reached the sexual sphere as well:
  • Pornography spreads, increasingly savage.
  • Fashion shortens clothing, increasing provocation.
  • The idea spreads that 'if there is love, everything is permitted', which then moves on to 'even if there is no love, everything is permitted'. (In reality, true love does not do those things, but respects the beloved person and waits for marriage.)
  • A point is reached where adultery and fornication are frequent, and conscience is stunned.

5. The gay lobby

At that point, people still thought that homosexual acts were an outrage. Then it was sought that these acts also be permitted and that conscience be further silenced. And talk began of respecting homosexuals. This is good, but immediately the respect for persons was confused with the approval of their actions. And it ends up being said that those acts are acceptable. The gay lobby pressured for no one to hold the opposite view. And people and consciences fell silent in these areas as well.

6. Gender ideology

What remains for everything to be permitted in sexual matters? What remains is for one to be able to choose sex. And so gender ideology is invented. And pressure is applied to impose it on all consciences.

7. The end

The end may be far off, but it is easy to predict. Gender ideology and the idea that anything goes in sex are false and unnatural theories. Therefore they will explode and disappear. Although they can do great harm until then. Like Marxism.

8. Does gender ideology have to do with feminism?

Gender ideology is usually presented together with feminism in order to gain adherents. In this sense, they say that if one chooses sex, the distinction between man and woman disappears. In reality, gender ideology destroys women — and men — because it blurs the feminine — and the masculine. Authentic feminists claim rights for women, but do not want to stop being women. (It may be useful to see machismo).
