1. Is praying the Rosary difficult?
Resolving to pray the Rosary can sometimes be demanding for these reasons:
- It requires about 20 minutes if prayed completely (the five mysteries, litany, and concluding prayers).
- The method of praying it requires a brief period of learning, which we aim to facilitate here.
- Other possible difficulties are easily overcome with a little love for Our Lady.
2. Is it necessary to pray the entire Rosary?
It is better to pray it in full, but one can certainly begin by praying just one or two mysteries. This is very easy: each mystery is prayed with one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, and one Glory Be. Very simple, requiring only two minutes.
3. And what does the complete Rosary consist of?
The entire Rosary consists of five mysteries and the litanies. This is somewhat more demanding, since the five mysteries bear a different name according to the day of the week; and the litanies need to be written down on paper until they are learned by heart through regular use. There are also intermediate prayers and a general introduction. We explain them below.
