1. What is elegance?
In a broad sense, elegance is the habit of getting right the appropriate way to behave, in a manner that is admirable. It includes two requirements:

Admirable fashion combines several characteristics: beauty, order, proportion, good taste, well-chosen color combinations, discretion, simplicity, grace, poise, correctness. One sees that way of dressing and thinks: that is the right choice.

- A good hairstyle or a hat are elegant, because they center attention on the head. On the other hand, if the hairstyle or hat are excessively showy, they are not elegant, because they absorb attention and divert it from the person. Earrings and a necklace are elegant, unless they are elaborate. A bracelet, a ring and a watch are usually elegant because they embellish the hands, unless they are conspicuous.
6. Is it easy to be elegant?
Elegance is both easy and difficult. Easy, because it is accessible to anyone, and does not depend on money or social standing. Difficult, because true elegance comes from within the person, as a result of the harmonious qualities one possesses. And qualities are acquired through persevering effort.
7. If one has few qualities, can one be elegant?
Anyone can and should dress elegantly. This effort to dress appropriately is beneficial for oneself and for those around, and helps to improve in various qualities. However, at first it will be noticeable that something of naturalness is lacking.
