By observing creation, several conclusions can be drawn about the Creator:
- God is immensely wise and powerful to create so splendid a universe (big bang ; evolutionism).
- The Creator possesses to the highest degree the perfections we see in creatures, without any mixture of defects or limitations. For example, God is Good and Just, and is not mortal.
- God is spiritual, since material beings can break and perish.
- God is eternal: the Creator must have always existed, for otherwise, who would have created Him?
- God is humble: He created a universe while passing unnoticed.

4. What do we learn about God in prayer?
Prayer is a simple yet profound way to know the Lord. It draws us into divine friendship and intimacy. In prayer, we gain a clearer understanding of His plans and desires: what pleases or displeases Him in our own personal conduct and in humanity in general. In prayer we can also ask God for help, and this divine assistance is a most efficacious means of drawing closer to Him.
