Walking together begins with listening
You cannot walk with others if you only want to set the pace yourself.
Sometimes we talk about community, but live as if the best idea were always our own. We make proposals before listening and correct before understanding.
Walking together requires a different disposition: asking, receiving, discerning, giving way when appropriate, and contributing without overpowering. It is not wandering aimlessly, but seeking the path with greater humility.
The Church learns to walk when its members truly listen to one another under the gaze of God. Unity does not come from imposing, but from loving the truth together.
