UFO does not mean extraterrestrial

The word UFO only says that there is an unidentified flying object. It does not by itself say that it comes from another planet, nor that it has a supernatural explanation, nor that it is a threat. This distinction seems small, but it changes a great deal. It is one thing to admit that there are real phenomena we do not fully understand, and another to jump straight to the most sensational conclusion. Christian faith does not need to live off suspicions or headlines. It can look at these topics with interest, but also with patience, without confusing an open question with a closed answer.
