Truth does not change by votes

Truth is not born from the majority, from the atmosphere, or from your desires. Something is true when it corresponds to reality, even if it is hard to accept or out of fashion. That is why seeking truth demands quite concrete humility: letting reality correct your ideas. The Christian does not fear this search, because God does not compete with truth: he upholds it. This does not stop at a fine-sounding phrase. It shows in very concrete things: how you spend your time, how you rest, how you speak, and what you do when it is time to start over. That is where an idea stops being theory and begins touching life.
