Simplicity protects an undivided identity

You can adopt one language at home, another in faith, and another before those you wish to impress. Adapting to the context is normal; betraying different convictions in each one fragments your personal identity. Simplicity does not mean telling everything to everyone or behaving without prudence. It means that the same underlying truth exists: you do not need to hide one life to maintain the other, nor pretend to have qualities you do not possess. That unity brings rest and makes it possible to correct yourself. If you fail, you acknowledge the inconsistency instead of inventing an additional version. It also makes your presence more credible: others can know whom they are really speaking to. An undivided identity preserves nuances, privacy, and diverse roles, but it does not need contradictory masks to survive.
