Nothing created fulfills you completely
Neither success, nor pleasure, nor relationships can carry your entire heart.
Good things in life help greatly: friendship, work, rest, love, projects. But none of them, on its own, can answer to everything you are.
When you expect absolute fullness from something limited, you end up frustrated. The finite can accompany you, but it cannot take the place of the eternal.
Good things deserve to be enjoyed and appreciated, but they cannot bear the weight of becoming your ultimate purpose. When they take their proper place, you can love them without demanding that they be God.
Key idea
The finite does not completely fill a heart open to the infinite.
Your challenge for this idea
Do not expect everything from something limited today. Enjoy it, but do not turn it into an absolute.
