Love and limits at home

Saying yes to everything seems easier, but it does not always help. Children need affection, but they also need clear reference points to learn to live with order. Well-set boundaries are not a lack of love. They provide security, train the will, and help distinguish between a whim and a real good. Raising children is not about solving every difficulty for them, but about helping them grow in freedom. Affection and high standards can walk together when they seek their real good.
