Is being a good person enough?

Being a good person is valuable, but Christian life goes far beyond correct behavior. God wants to give you his grace, make you his child, and bring you to heaven. Reducing faith to "doing no harm" leaves out what is greatest: friendship with God, sacraments, prayer, conversion, and supernatural love. Christianity is not just ethics; it is life received. This question requires calm consideration, not a slogan. Many doubts become clearer when you distinguish things carefully: what faith says, what reason can see, what comes from personal experience, and what might stem from a wound or prejudice.
