God is not depleted by giving himself
That millions receive Christ does not leave less for you.
St. Catherine compared the presence of Christ to a flame capable of lighting many candles without diminishing.
Each person can receive him whole, even if countless people receive Communion on the same day and in different places.
We are used to goods that are divided and run out. If someone receives more, less remains for the rest.
That logic of scarcity does not apply to God: his self-giving does not reduce him or turn his love into a competition.
That is why you do not need to compare your spiritual story with someone else's. God has not exhausted his patience or his closeness before reaching you. You can approach without fear of receiving leftovers.
Key idea
God's love gives itself entirely to each person without being exhausted.
Your challenge for this idea
When you compare yourself to someone today, repeat: "The good they receive does not reduce what God has for me."
