Five words for the bad days
"Jesus, I trust in you" fits into any moment, even when the words won't come.
There are days when you don't know how to pray: you're tired, worried or angry, and any long prayer feels like an uphill climb. For those days it helps to have a short phrase on hand that says what matters.
"Jesus, I trust in you" is one of them. It was spread by Faustina Kowalska, whose message the Church remembers on the second Sunday of Easter, and it sums up in five words that you can rely on Jesus even when you don't understand what's happening to you.
It's not a magic formula. It's an act of trust you can repeat on the bus, before an exam or in the middle of an argument. Every time you say it, you leave in his hands something you can't hold up on your own.
Key idea
When the words won't come, it is enough to tell Jesus that you trust him.
Your challenge for this idea
Today, repeat "Jesus, I trust in you" every time something worries you.
