Critical thinking with the Gospel

That something is customary does not mean it is just. An environment can normalize mockery, exploitation, lying, casting people aside, or the obsession with performance. The Gospel helps look at reality with a light that discomforts and heals. It asks about the concrete person, the weak, the truth, and the love that is missing. Thinking critically is not living in anger. It is refusing to surrender conscience to the environment without asking what is truly taking place.
