Your work fits into the Mass

You can experience the Mass as something separate, disconnected from the week. But there is a bridge: in the Eucharist you can offer your work, your tiredness, and your small sacrifices, united to Christ who offers himself to the Father. That gives new value to the usual things. The difficult report, the patience with someone, the hours of study, the care of your family: none of this is lost. Placed in the Mass, it acquires a weight that is not seen, but is real. You do not need to do extraordinary things. It is enough to arrive at Mass saying: 'Lord, I bring you this,' and carry your whole week to the altar.
