Your heart is not broken
Sometimes you have not lost the light; the glass has just misted over.
There are moments when you look inside yourself and think there is no fixing things. Too many falls, tiredness, wounds, distractions, or poor decisions.
But the heart is not healed by self-contempt. Many times it needs cleansing, truth, and mercy. What is covered is not lost; what is dimmed can be reignited.
God does not look at your heart as a hopeless case. He looks at it as someone who loves and wants to restore. That is why it is worth returning to him without waiting to feel worthy, strong, or perfectly prepared.
Key idea
Your heart may be wounded or fogged without being lost.
Your challenge for this idea
