Your character is not finished at a certain age

You can speak about your character as if it had been sealed decades ago: 'I've always been this way' or 'at my age I'm not going to change.' Repetition gives strength to certain habits, but it does not turn them into destiny. New responsibilities, failures, counsel, and grace keep revealing areas that can mature. The change may be slower and need different supports, but it is no less real. You also count on experience you did not have before. Forming the personality is a lifelong task. It does not require performing youth or denying acquired limits. It asks for docility: recognizing harm, trying a different response, and letting those who love you also know a new version of you. Growing older can harden or deepen.
