You don't need to know everything to talk about your faith
You can tell what you live even if you don't have an answer for everything.
Sometimes you keep quiet about your faith because you imagine a surprise exam: being asked something you don't know, explaining it badly or coming across as someone who still has their own struggles.
But talking about God doesn't require being an expert. You can tell something you've truly lived, listen to the other person's question and say simply: "I don't know; let me look into it." That humility, with genuine interest, inspires more trust than having an answer for everything.
Learning about your faith is still necessary, above all so as not to improvise on delicate topics. But often what someone needs today isn't a lecture, but to discover that they can talk with you without feeling judged.
Key idea
To talk about your faith it's enough to be sincere; what you don't know, you can look up.
Your challenge for this idea
This week, share with someone a personal reason for your faith, and if they ask something you don't know, tell them you'll look into it.
