You can ignore revelation

You can distract yourself, live with your back to God, or postpone important questions for another time. But reality does not change because of our lack of attention. God remains there. His call can be ignored, but it does not cease to be true. That is why it is wise not to postpone what is essential indefinitely. Truth does not depend on being convenient or on a majority repeating it. Seeking it requires humility to let reality correct your personal preferences.
