You bear a seal that nothing erases

Through baptism, an indelible mark was imprinted on you: you belong to Christ, you are a child of God. It is not a title you earn or lose based on how you behave. It is right there, beneath everything. That changes how you view yourself when you fail. Sin can hinder that seal from bearing fruit, but it does not tear it away: you can always return, because you never stopped being his.
