You are not a number
Your weight is a data point, not a grade on who you are.
It is easy to turn a number into a verdict. Weight, clothing size, followers, likes: figures we start reading as if they declared what we are worth. And they do not say that. A number can measure a body or count an audience, but it never reaches a person.
The problem is not the number itself, but the power we give it. When you let it decide your mood, a small statistic begins talking about your dignity, which is vast and cannot be measured that way. You are valuable because you are someone created and loved by God, and that does not rise or fall with the scale.
Lowering the volume on numbers makes room to view yourself in another way. Not to stop taking care of yourself, but to stop grading yourself. You are far more than any figure could ever say about you.
Key idea
A number can measure your body, never your worth as a person.
Your challenge for this idea
Do not weigh yourself or count likes today to see if you are valuable; name a quality of yours that is not measured in numbers.
