Why does not anything go in bioethics?

When it comes to human life, the question cannot only be whether something can be done. One must also ask whom it affects, what dignity is at stake, and whether the weakest is respected. Christian faith insists that human life is not valuable because of utility, strength, or the desire of others. That outlook especially protects whoever cannot defend themselves. It does not help to close this question with a quick phrase. If it arises, it can be a good occasion to form your faith better, seek advice, and think with more calm. The Church does not fear honest questions; what impoverishes is not wanting to search sincerely.
