Why is God invisible?
Not everything that is invisible is absent.
God is not just one more thing inside the world, like a rock or a star. He is the Creator, spiritual and eternal, and he is known through his traces, through his revelation, and through prayer.
Not seeing him with our eyes does not mean he is not at work. Many decisive realities are also invisible: the will, love, and intelligence. God makes himself known in a far deeper way than a simple physical appearance.
It does not help to close this question with a quick phrase. If it arises, it can be a good occasion to form your faith better, ask for counsel, and reflect more calmly. The Church does not fear honest questions; what impoverishes is not wanting to search sincerely.
