Where does everything come from?

Reality doesn't appear out of nothing, nor is it held up by chance. Everything that exists raises a deep question: why is there something rather than nothing? The Christian faith recognizes God as the origin of everything. Not as an easy answer so we can stop thinking, but as the first cause that gives meaning to existence.
