Questions

There can be a true religion

Mark as read

Sincerity alone does not make every single answer equally true.

The fact that many people seek God in different ways does not mean that every religious assertion is equally true. Truth does not depend solely upon good intentions. The religious question deserves the same respect for reality as any other important question: who is God?, has he revealed himself?, what evidence do we have? Seeking the truth is not looking down on anyone. This question requires calm, not a slogan. Many doubts are understood better when you separate things: what faith says, what reason can see, what comes from personal experience, and what perhaps stems from a wound or a prejudice.

Key idea

The search for true religion must look at truth, not only at sincerity.

Your challenge for this idea

Formulate a concrete question about faith and look for a serious answer, not just a comfortable one.
