Should the Church speak about the poor?

The primary mission of the Church is eternal salvation, but Christian charity does not remain indifferent to human suffering. Whoever loves God learns to look more closely at the poor. That does not turn the Church into a political party. Her voice recalls principles of justice, human dignity, and charity, while her actual deeds show that faith also addresses visible wounds. This question calls for calm, not a slogan. Many doubts are better understood when you distinguish matters: what faith says, what reason can perceive, what comes from personal experience, and what perhaps stems from a wound or prejudice.
