The second shipwreck is loneliness

Mark as read

A person can reach safety and still keep sinking on the inside.

There are shipwrecks that can be seen and others that occur in complete silence. Someone may have escaped a hard situation, changed city, country, or environment, and still live entirely lost because they have no one close to them. Loneliness does not always make noise. Sometimes it hides behind a quick "everything's fine," a fleeting smile, or a person who always sits in the very same place without anyone ever approaching. Helping does not always begin with grand solutions. Sometimes it starts by learning a name, saving a seat, asking an honest question, or walking for a little while with someone.

Key idea

People must also be rescued from loneliness.

Your challenge for this idea

Notice someone today who is usually set apart and approach them without rushing, even with a simple question.
