The sacraments are encounters

The sacraments are not religious formalities. They are real ways in which Christ continues to touch life: he forgives, nourishes, strengthens, and accompanies with visible signs. Sometimes we want an exclusively interior faith, without gestures or Church. But God knows our human condition and uses water, bread, words, and hands to give us invisible goods. Sometimes faith remains stuck in feeling, habit, or debate. This idea helps return to what is essential: God acts, grace is real, and the Christian life is kept upright by concrete means, not just good intentions.
