Resurrection is not reincarnation
Christian hope is not about returning a thousand times, but being restored by God.
Christian faith does not teach that the soul keeps changing bodies again and again. It teaches the resurrection: in the end, God will restore to the body its union with the soul.
This affirms something very great about the whole person. The body is not a disposable container; it is also called to participate in the final destiny intended by God.
It does not help to dismiss this question with a quick phrase. If it arises, it can be a good occasion to form your faith better, seek advice, and reflect more calmly. The Church does not fear honest questions; what impoverishes us is not truly wanting to seek.
