Reason also leads to God

Faith is not turning off the intellect. The great questions about origin, meaning, the good, truth, and destiny deserve to be thought through with seriousness. Thinking well can bring you closer to God. Reason does not replace faith, but it can pave the way toward it and show that believing is not irrational. Reason and faith do not have to compete. If both seek truth, they can help each other examine different questions without falling into easy caricatures.
