A place in the heart of God

Some people feel tolerated but not loved; present but not awaited. That feeling can also enter the relationship with God. Christian faith says something stronger: God does not give you a cold corner. He calls you child, seeks you, forgives you, and wants you to live near his heart. If you truly believe this, it changes the way you return to him. You do not come back as someone who is a bother, but as someone who has a home.
