Looking at Christ changes how you see
You do not see life the same way once you begin looking with Jesus.
The blind man in the Gospel does not only regain his sight. He ends up meeting Christ. He goes from seeing things to recognizing Someone who speaks to him and seeks him.
Faith also changes how you view daily life. A person ceases to be a hindrance, work can become service, and a wound can open a sincere conversation with God.
Looking at Christ does not take you out of reality. It returns you to it with greater truth. Where you once saw only haste, judgment, or routine, a concrete call to love better can appear.
Key idea
Christ does not only teach you what to look at, but how to look.
Your challenge for this idea
Before a task or conversation, ask Jesus to look at it through his eyes.
