Loneliness does not invalidate a good fidelity

There are good decisions that receive very little support: upholding a principle, caring for someone, or working honestly in a different environment. The lack of echo can make you doubt even what you once saw clearly. It is wise to listen to reality: perhaps you should explain things better, revise a method, or accept a correction. But popularity is not the final criterion. Some truths require a person who remains steadfast before others dare to step forward. Solitary fidelity must not turn into pride. Seek healthy companionship, counsel, and prayer. And remember that your example may be helping in silence. A match does not fill an entire room with light, but everyone can see it.
