Listen to the story before judging

Judging quickly is comfortable. You see a reaction, an appearance, or a decision, and immediately place the person in a box. But everyone carries a story that cannot be seen in full: wounds, fears, efforts, hopes, mistakes, and struggles. Listening does not excuse everything, but it helps you look with greater justice. Christ looks like that: with truth and mercy. He reduces no one to their worst action or a first impression.
