Jesus in the boat

You do not have to cross your storms on your own.

There are storms that arrive without asking permission: fear, examinations, family problems, uncertainty, guilt, or exhaustion. That is when you try to row with all your strength. Inviting Jesus into the boat does not mean that every wind disappears. It means ceasing to live as though fear had the final word. Prayer in the midst of the storm can be simple: Lord, stay with me, teach me the next step, and grant me peace so that I do not sink inside.

Key idea

The presence of Christ provides confidence in the midst of fear.

Your challenge for this idea

Before facing a difficulty today, say slowly: Jesus, come with me in this boat.
