Jesus enters your mud

In the Gospel, Jesus heals the blind man by touching mud. He does not act from afar or with a cold solution. He enters a concrete, poor, and stained reality. That says a lot about how God looks at your life. He does not approach only the orderly, presentable, and easy-to-tell part. He also enters tiredness, wounds, sins, and areas you would prefer to hide. Faith does not consist in pretending there is no mud. It consists in letting Christ touch it and make something new there. His mercy does not humiliate; it lifts up, cleanses your gaze, and lets you walk again.
