Is creating just making things?
Creating isn't simply transforming something that already exists.
We manufacture, build or change things out of materials that already exist. God, on the other hand, creates in a unique way: he gives being.
That's why creation isn't just one more piece of work. Everything that exists has been received as a gift and points to the One who can call into existence out of nothing.
Key idea
God truly creates; he doesn't just transform.
