Without a great goal, any whim seems urgent.
Ideals are not pretty phrases to put in a planner. They are high goals that order the small things: time, expenses, conversations, and the way you rest.
When an ideal is missing, the immediate takes charge. When there is a noble goal, some sacrifices stop looking like loss and start looking like a path. Not everything will be easy, but at least you will know where you are heading.
