He rose also for you
The Resurrection is not just a happy ending for Jesus.
Easter is usually told as the happy ending to the story of Jesus. But it was not something for him alone. He rose to open a new life for you, one that begins right now, not only after death.
That new life is called grace: it makes you a child and friend of God here and now. It does not erase problems, but it changes what lies underneath: you walk with Someone who already conquered death and takes you with him.
It is not escapism or looking away. It is living the present with joy and verve, knowing where you are going. The final word about your life does not belong to weariness or death, but to Easter.
