He is someone real, not an idea

You can know many things about him and still have little to do with him. Faith does not mature just by gathering information, but by entering into a real relationship with him. Christ is not a theory studied from afar. He is someone alive and near, who can be spoken with, listened to, and loved in the concrete reality of your life. He is not merely a moral reference. He is someone alive whom you can know, relate to, and follow within your concrete circumstances.
