God reveals himself out of love

God does not make himself known to satisfy religious curiosity. He reveals himself because he wants to enter into communion with man and lead him to life. Revelation is born of love. God wants you to know him because he loves you and because your heart is made to live united to him. Knowing God is not reduced to thinking about him. You also learn to relate to him in prayer and to recognize his presence in creation and ordinary life.
