God looks at what you can become

After failing, the mind gathers evidence to pass judgment: "I always do the same thing," "I'm no good at this," "I've already disappointed God." The actual mistake ends up turned into a closed identity. Christ knows weakness without romanticizing it, but his gaze does not stop there. He called people who still had much to learn and trusted in what his grace and their freedom could build together. He does not reduce you to a museum of your worst moments. Christian hope neither denies the damage nor avoids making amends. It prevents the past from claiming the final word. You can look at the failure, ask for forgiveness, and ask what possibility of love remains open today. God does not bet on a false version of you, but on a story still in progress.
