God also speaks through what you feel

God does not speak only through clear ideas or explicitly religious moments. He can also help you discover something by looking sincerely at what is happening inside you. Bringing an emotion to prayer does not mean automatically turning it into God's will. It means placing it before him to receive light, order, and truth. Prayer helps you discern. An emotion can give you information about what you are experiencing, but it needs to be examined with truth, prudence, and, when needed, counsel.
