Formation is not just knowing more

You can accumulate courses, books, and concepts with increasing precision. That knowledge is valuable, but it runs the risk of turning into a collection that barely touches decisions. Integral formation connects doctrine, character, and mission. It asks what image of God it corrects, what virtue it calls for, and how it changes the way you treat others. An understood idea then finds a concrete place. Applying does not mean reducing every truth to a quick piece of advice. Some truths need contemplation and time before bearing fruit. But it is worth examining whether studying also serves to avoid an uncomfortable personal conversion. Good formation broadens the intellect and, at the same time, makes freedom more available. You know better so you can live and love with greater truth.
