Faith

Faith shows up at street level

You cannot pray to Jesus and walk straight past someone who is suffering.

Faith is not meant to stay locked away in pleasant moments of prayer. If it is genuine, it takes to the street, affecting schedules, interactions, money, time, and how you view others. You can say many good things about God, but if you ignore the person needing help beside you, something breaks inside. The altar and daily life are not two separate worlds. Praying does not distance you from the world's pain; it gives you eyes to see it without fleeing and hands to respond.

Key idea

Christian prayer becomes truer when it moves you to love better.

Your challenge for this idea

After praying, choose a concrete act of service and carry it out today without announcing it.
