Faith makes you fearless

Faith is not there to hide you from the world. When it is alive, it ignites a serene courage: speaking truthfully, serving without fear, defending the weak, and not being ashamed of Christ. There is no need to look for dramatic gestures. Often, courage lies in not staying silent before injustice, inviting someone to pray, living consistently, or upholding what is good when no one applauds it. The Holy Spirit does not eliminate your shyness all at once, but he can give you strength for a concrete step.
