Faith and science: false conflict

Science helps us know how the world functions. Faith opens questions about the meaning, the origin, and the destiny of life. They are not enemies when they are properly understood. Seeking the truth with honesty requires avoiding caricatures, both of science and of faith. Reason and faith do not have to compete with each other. If both seek the truth, they can help each other look at different questions without falling into easy caricatures.
