An extraterrestrial would also be a creature
Coming from another world does not mean coming from outside of God.
If extraterrestrial life existed, the first thing to remember would be simple: it would also be a creature. It would not be uncreated, it would not stand above God, nor would it escape his providence.
This does not answer every question, but it sets a foundation. Christian faith can look at possible life outside Earth without turning it into a divinity, an absolute threat, or a religious fantasy.
Enormous questions would remain: whether they would be rational, whether they would have a soul, how they would relate to God, and what place they would occupy in creation. But all those questions would begin from a basic truth: God is the Creator of all.
Key idea
Nothing created remains outside the power and love of God.
Your challenge for this idea
Think of something in the universe that impresses you, and remember that, if it exists, it also depends on God.
