Dying is not disappearing

If the soul is spiritual, death cannot simply be switching off like a machine. Faith confirms that afterwards comes the encounter with God and a life that is not improvised at the end. Thinking about this is not meant to frighten, but to awaken. Living with an eternal destiny makes today's decisions both more serious and more full of hope. This question requires calm, not a slogan. Many doubts are better understood when you separate things: what faith says, what reason can see, what comes from personal experience, and what perhaps arises from a wound or prejudice.
