Neutrality should not turn into expelling faith.
It is one thing for the State not to impose a religion, and quite another for it to treat faith as something shameful that must vanish from public life.
Religion is also part of people's real lives. A free society allows believers to contribute reasons, works, and convictions, while respecting those who do not believe.
Closing this question with a quick phrase does not help. If it arises, it can be a good opportunity to form faith better, seek counsel, and reflect more calmly. The Church does not fear honest questions; what impoverishes is refusing to search sincerely.
